Never been here before

The food was all first class. The service was courteous. A nice rustic ambience. We will certainly go out to eat there more often.

Super delicious food, great atmosphere, nice service and the Corona rules were also adhered to!

Traditional country inn in the Teufelsmoor on the banks of the Wümme with a beautiful summer garden. Ideal for bike trips, boat tours, Sunday afternoon coffee or an evening by the fireplace. Solid (north) German cuisine, medium to high price range. Attentive, unobtrusive service, the landlady takes care of the guests. Decent, local gastronomy that can hardly be found in the north.

The long way along the Wümmedeich is definitely worth it. The good, partly innovative cuisine and the rustic country house atmosphere are - especially in summer - perfect for a destination, whether on land or on the water.

The owner's friendliness should be significantly better, even in stressful situations. The conditions are very friendly.

Waited over 2 hours for food despite pre-ordering. This is the grill plate for 19 €! The steak was the sole of a shoe, inedible and the rosemary potatoes were burnt. The ones that weren't burned tasted pretty good. But for 19 € that is clearly not enough and the quality wasn't there either!

Excursion restaurant in the best location! Unfortunately the plum cake was way too hard and not worth the money. However, the extremely nice service made up for everything. You can reach the restaurant either by boat, by bike or by car. You sit directly at the Wümme. Therefore to be recommended again and again.

Bad coffee, lousy service, no one particularly liked the cake in our group of 6. Not all waiters wear masks. The location is of course great.

Here you can take a break from cycling in peace. Very good rustic kitchen. Very tasty and well-enough portions. Well drawn beer or Alster water. Nice, attentive service. Decent, reasonable prices.

5 stars - but it's always not enough when your expectations have been exceeded, for example, by the atmosphere of a family home and the best associations associated with it, what is remembered, and combined with food - and it is prepared for the guests of this house, not only for customers, feeling that you are in a place you want to come back to.

Very nice restaurant with excellent food. We felt very comfortable, I will be happy to come back, maybe when the weather is better and you can enjoy the nice atmosphere outside.

We came here with our chug boat and can only recommend the restaurant! Rustic rural cuisine - extremely tasty!

Went there yesterday but never again. Wrong food, wrong drinks and an incorrect bill (in favor of the restaurant, of course). The beautiful surroundings are the only positive thing. Although I grew up with this traditional restaurant (with the previous owner), one can only warn against it, as it only spoils the evening there.

You can sit outside, right on the water! Staff is friendly and courteous! Warm dishes are delicious! We didn't find the cake that tasty!

Very nice and good service, delicious food and well-chilled drinks. Very pleasant view of the Wümme and a pleasant rest. Always happy to eat and relax there for many years. Easy to reach by bike, moped or car.
